On July 1, 2003, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Corporation held the Grand Opening Ceremony of Mega VNN high-speed Internet access service.
Mega VNN is a service using broadband information technology that allows access to the Internet and data networks at high speed by using existing telephone lines. With Mega - VNN, users who have registered for a phone subscription will be able to simultaneously use voice calls and access the Internet on the same line.
With the current capacity, the download speed of Mega VNN can be up to 2 Mbit/s and the download speed can be up to 640 Kbit/s. In addition to the above application, in the near future, customers can also exploit other applications such as distance training, online gaming, watching movies, listening to music on demand or watching online TV, etc.
