Deep C III area with an area of 520 hectares is located in the Deep C Hai Phong industrial park complex covering more than 2,000 hectares, managed by Rent A Port Joint Stock Company from Belgium and the People's Committee of Hai Phong city, which is also the unit currently operating Dinh Vu industrial park.

Deep C III area has favorable conditions to connect traffic with Hai Phong international gateway port, Tan Vu - Lach Huyen bridge, Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway and Hai Phong - Ha Long - China highway. On October 5, 2017, the investor and Tin Phat Events & Media Company held "The Groundbreaking Ceremony of Hai Phong Deep C III International Gateway Port Industrial Park". This new industrial park is expected to be an attractive destination for investors in the fields of automotive auxiliary industry, logistics, light industry and general industry due to its strategic location for business activities in ASEAN. “With the goal towards a sustainable industrial park model in Vietnam and a world-class industrial park associated with a deep-water port, Deep C III area was built to become an ecological industrial park, reducing emissions and waste, providing ecological solutions for investors, meeting requirements, sustainable development trends and international integration. As a pioneer in Hai Phong city, our main goal is to implement the eco-industrial park initiative towards a sustainable industrial park model in Vietnam”, said Mr. Frank Wouters, General Director of Dinh Vu Industrial Park JSC.
Mr. Dang Huy Dong, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Dang Huy Dong, Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment said that currently, the Vietnamese government is continuing to perfect mechanisms and policies related to industrial zones and economic zones in order to promote the driving role of industrial zones and economic zones in economic growth in line with sustainable direction. Therefore, the Ministry of Planning and Investment always welcomes the company's long-term orientation and commitment to developing industrial zones, including Deep C Industrial Park in the direction of ecological industrial zones. The Ministry of Planning and Investment committed to continue working closely with Hai Phong city to promote administrative procedure reform, creating a favorable investment environment for Dinh Vu Industrial Park Joint Stock Company and its Belgian partners to successfully carry out projects, making positive economic, social and environmental contributions to Hai Phong city and other localities. Mr. Pieter De Crem, Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Europe of the Kingdom of Belgium, affirmed that Deep C Zone was built and formed on the basis of the Belgian port model, similar to the port of Antwerp and the port of Ghent. The key point is the direct connection between the seaport and the inland industrial park. This model gives businesses important advantages, optimizing the construction of infrastructure and utility systems, maximizing supply chain efficiency and added value.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee highly appreciated the determination and initiative of the investor of Deep C III Industrial Park. Hai Phong city is committed to focusing resources, speeding up the construction of industrial park infrastructure, continuing to invest in perfecting the transport infrastructure system connecting Cat Hai Island and Route 356, the South – West route, axial road, sea dike south of Dinh Vu Industrial Park and Tan Vu - Lach Huyen bridge No. 2... This event marked an important first step and affirmed the commitment of this Belgian investor to Hai Phong city. In the coming time, the city's leaders will continue to attach importance to and promote FDI attraction for socio-economic development goals. Along with the groundbreaking ceremony of Deep C III Industrial Park, the first secondary investor to invest in Deep C III Industrial Park, Vietnam Electrical Equipment Joint Stock Company (GLEX) also signed a principle agreement to lease 50 hectares of land for construction of an electrical equipment manufacturing complex.
